Koh Samui: Drinks Tasting Toer of Koh Samui

Many people that visit the idyllic island of Koh Samui will not realise that beyond the gorgeous beaches and tropical jungle, lies a unique and fast developing home grown drinks making industry. Using only the finest of locally sourced ingredients, you will be amazed at what Samui has to offer whilst also gaining some insight into Thai culture and the wonderfully friendly people on this interesting tour. The day begins in the morning with a pick up from your hotel or villa with our experienced guide. Our first stop is at the Rum distillery, where you can sample a few different varieties of this delightful tipple, whilst also learning about the processes involved in its manufacture.

Next, we stop by a wine producer, where you will gain an insight into the fascinating process of making fruit wine. You will of course also be sampling these delightful wines.

Delicious lunch and cocktail making

When you are ready for a break, and some sustenance, we will stop at a beautiful beachside restaurant for some lunch in Fishermans Village, an idyllic area of Koh Samui. Included in this stop, is a brief lesson in mixology, and the chance to mix your very own cocktail to enjoy with your lunch. Our final stop is at Koh Samuis very own micro brewery. Here you will sample some of the islands finest ales, and learn directly from the owner how he set up and built his brewery. With four different ales to sample, this is a great way to end the tour, before a return to your accommodation. All of the drinks sampled on the tour are also available to purchase by the bottle.
